ANZAC day by cypress and marcus

ANZAC Day

ANZAC day is a day when we honour our soldiers for fighting in the war. I think ANZAC day is a day to give 5 minutes of silence to our brave soldiers who fighted in the war.   ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps.
Poppies grow as the men lay dead on the ground. Some people say that in world war 2 as the men marched along the field there were seeds underneath the ground and  when the war was finnish the poppies grew over the men.
Before the men went to war there wives gave them biscuits for a snack so they won’t get hungry and those biscuits are called ANZAC biscuits which are really famous in New Zealand and Australia.
