Marcus - Why it's Important to Celebrate Me
Today we learnt why it's important to celebrate ourselves. I am worthy to be celebrated because I need to gain sense of value and find out why people like us. Classmates recorded down on paper that I am very talented in many ways, I'm funny and have a nice personality and I have a great growth mindset. It is important to recognise value in yourself because then you'll know what your worth and what other peoples values are. I feel loved by my classmates because of the kind and uplifting words that they have written about me.

Denzel and Marcus - Designing for Cinemas
Designing for Cinemas
Today I was reading with my buddy Denzel. We were reading about cinemas and how someone designs one. One thing we both learned was that the cinema floors were made to resist liquid and and solid foot steps at the same time!. Maybe next time we can work on reading the article faster rather than reading it like a robot. We also learned that popcorn pops because of the starch and moist in the corn kernels.
Denzels favourite part in the article is when they were testing the floors with drinks by spilling them on it because it was funny. My favourite part is when Ian Swan was designing the projection room because it took a lot of thinking. Did you know that Ian Swan has been designing cinemas for over 30 years, that's two times my age and more.

Marcus - School abassador speeches
The 29th of august 2016 Me and eight other manaiakalani school ambassador had to meet up at the Pt england school car park for our speaking at the google presentation. We left the carpark at 7:30am so we could get there before traffic starts. We ended up with traffic a lot of traffic, It took us 30 minutes to get to the Aotea square and we were all exhausted and grumpy but we managed to get into the build nice and calmly even though we had problems on the elevator and in the underground car park.
We got into the room and was told to sit down on a circle shaped table and blog about being here, I was to nervous to so I just read over my speech to make sure I don’t muck up when it's my turn to speak. It was time for the google presentation to start, we walked to the front of the rows and sat down. Ed was one of the people that worked at google and he was the host of the google presentation, He introduced everyone and gave a little talk about fueling the future.
It was time for the manaiakalani school ambassador to speak and I was first as always, I was shaking and feeling Shaky. I didn’t think I could do it but I walked up with my shoulders high and my back straight and just started speaking I slowed my speech down and made sure I pronounced my words carefully and correctly.

Today in Life education I learnt about our choices and how they can affect your future. I also learned how we should be treating our body and who can help.
My favourite part of Life education is when we play that clapping game because it really get me focused and turns on my ears.
One thing I need to work on for next time is to listen more so I can get more information onto my work.

Today in Life Education I learnt how the organs inside our body works together to keep us strong and healthy. I also learned how to put the organs back into place inside the digestive area. One thing I want to learn is how does the neurons travel fast across the body. My favourite part of mine is when we went into groups and picked where in the world you would want to go.
