Today in class we had to write a poem on something you enjoyed doing in the holidays, I chose to do mine on sleep.

Marcus - Bayonet Brother’s forest

Bayonet Brother’s forest
The more people that die, the bigger the list
The people were keen, but did they know the risk
Guns ready to fire, filled with ammo
They hide in trenches wearing dirt suited camo

Enemies raiding with helmets on head
Nothing much to eat but water and bread

The families at home worry and shiver
They send their love with larks flying over the river
